We are proud to announce Cherrapunji, a new collaborative timepiece between Special Edition and Geylang Watch Company—a watch born from nature’s most extreme beauty.

Geylang Watch Co. is a Singaporean microbrand and all their watches are assembled and tested in Singapore.

Inspired by Cherrapunji, the highest rainfall place on Earth, this special edition captures the spirit of its lush green wetlands and ever-changing terrain. Where relentless rain shapes the land, Cherrapunji transforms that raw force into a refined yet rugged instrument of time.

The process of manufacturing forged carbon cases comes with a very high failure rate. Hence, each of these cases comes with an internal steel cage as re-enforcement, which allows to use a screw-down case back and screw-down crown as well.

Given the nature of forged carbon, the watch comes with a fixed bezel which mitigates the wear and tear, and eventually failure of the forged carbon teeth of a rotating bezel.
